Creative Community Radio Incorporated, operates as Radio Fremantle and is registered as a non-profit organisation. Instead of hiring staff to operate the station, we open our doors to members who volunteer their time to produce programmes and assist with the general run of the station.
Membership runs from 1 July of each year until 30 June. Members have until 31 July in which to renew their membership. If renewal is not effected by that time, membership lapses and a fresh application for membership is required.
Benefits
As a member of Radio Fremantle you will show your continued support of the station, are entitled to attend the station's Annual General Meeting plus stand and vote for positions on the Board of Management. Additionally with the completion of a training course, you will have the opportunity to become a presenter on the station.
Membership Prices
- Individual -
$44.00. Eligible to present programs (when qualified and subject to availability of time slots), vote in board elections, attend AGM's and generally participate in the running of the station. - Concession -
$33. These members have the same rights as an individual member. Concessional membership is available to students, pensioners, or those receiving Social Security benefits. Those applying for Concessional membership must quote their student/benefit number. - Corporate -
$110.00 Corporate members are entitled to one vote at elections and AGM's which is used by a designated representative.
